Digital or Paper?

How do you prefer to take in your books? Digital or paper?
The watery events of the past few weeks have left me wondering, which is better? As a reader pointed out, one of these is much less vulnerable to fire and flood.
I admit, the majority of my book consumption is done via audio these days, busy father and small business owner that I am. But when I make the time to focus my full attention on reading, nothing beats the tactile sensation of holding a physical book and turning pages. And don’t even get me started on the smell.
That said, I’ve developed an appreciation for digital of late, especially when traveling. No more having to decide which book or two I want to bring and trying to find a way to cram those bricks into my suitcase (looking at you, Brandon Sanderson).
I think we can all agree that it’s best to have options, though. So that one can make the decision oneself based upon the needs of the moment. Which is why, whenever I run a Kickstarter, I’m make sure to cram it full of digital comics.
Take my current campaign, the 15th Anniversary Impure Blood Kickstarter for instance.
Every physical book comes with a digital copy! Whether you’re on the go or curling up with a mug of tea, you have the option that suits you best!
What’s more, backers can pick up a digital bundle of every comic I’ve ever made at a specially discounted price!
And, in case that’s not enough comics for you, all backers will receive 16 bonus comics on top of their reward!
But we have to cross that finish line first, and there is just one week left to do it!
Back the the 15th Anniversary Impure Blood Kickstarter today!
Become a part of celebrating 15 years of epic steampunkery and bring home more digital rewards than you can shake a stick at.
Oh, but I’m not done!
Might I also suggest that you check out Napoleon's Starship by Wayward Raven Media.
Gavroche is a young revolutionist and artist. On Earth, she joined the protests against Napoleon's cruel rule. No longer being able to stand his tyranny, Gavroche stows away on Napoleon's Starship, determined to assassinate him. When she is caught by Napoleon's troops, Napoleon's Master of Artistic Propaganda attempts to force her to use her art for propaganda. Gavroche resists, eventually meeting the denizens of this new planet. A kinship is formed with these creatures that speak through scent and Gavroche devises a desperate plan to overthrow the galactic emperor!

Vive la révolution! Win win win.
My favorite kind of win.
More soon! Till then, be good!
But not too good 😉
